Drama much?

Many times, in this walk through life, our faith in the Lord keeps getting tested. So many trials came our way yet we've always surpassed them. Gradually, one by one, we were able to weather our storms. And while there are still more battles to hurdle, we're going to take it as positively as we can. After all, that's just what makes this life even more exciting and challenging! :-)

We have always known that it's because of God that we're getting help from people at the right time that we needed them. Sometimes, we didn't even have to ask God for these things. Whether these are financial blessings, work opportunities, or some random acts of kindness from people we didn't expect to do them for us, all these just came in perfect timing! This is why nothing worries me that much anymore (although I can't help myself from being emotional sometimes because that's just the way I am). Whatever the future holds – I will keep reminding myself that I should not be shaken and I should not doubt or complain because God is in control. He will guide us to make the right decisions. So, it is only right to seek His guidance and lift everything up to Him. Even if we fail at one point, there may also be a purpose to it. What matters is that we're ready to get up and fight 'til the end.

Drama much? Nah, I'm just writing from the heart. :-)

how are you holding up?

After giving birth, I must confess that some things are happening with my body that I have very little to no control of. Among other things, it seemed like my bladder could not always do its part of holding up urine a little longer than it used to. I am talking about urinary incontinence. I thought incontinence can only be experienced by the elderly or those that are already past their retirement age but I was wrong. I didn't even think that a laughter can trigger a flow from my bladder. This actually bothered me for awhile but after a few reads on the Internet and after a word from a doctor (especially), I was somehow appeased. To be honest, my urinary incontinence experience came to a point that I had to rely on these diapers and nappies for adults for awhile but after following a few exercises ( Kegel exercises) that can help strengthen the muscles in my pelvic area, I was able to manage it well. that's my dad

I am not sure if I have mentioned in any of my posts that my father is a professional mechanical engineer and that he works at a sugar milling company. Career-wise, he actually had humble beginnings where he started from a mere rank and file employee who works hands-on with bearings,  vise accessories and other industrial supplies and equipment that I am not familiar with, until he got promoted to a supervisory position. Today, even when he is already past the age of retirement, he is still working, although now I heard he is already holding a consultancy position (sort of). I am proud of my dad's achievements especially that I am aware that he worked really hard to earn his title. He's not from a well-to-do family; so, he had to work his way to get to college. I remembered even when he already got promoted in supervisory level, he's still willing to do manual labor if he deemed it necessary.
