when dressing up seems hard to do

There are times when I need to dress up formally for a function or an occasion. In many of these times, I get anxious because I am really clueless about what to wear because I'm simply not the 'dressy' type of person. Looking back, I had been fortunate to have friends who are always willing to help me find something that suits me or to lend me whatever they have in their closet. If it weren't for my friend who had me wear her extra evening dress and done my makeup, I wouldn't have been able to attend the debut of another friend. We are getting ready to attend a debut party. At that time, the bride-to-be gave me the freedom to decide what I should wear and how I should look as long as I follow the theme of the wedding. do you dig fashion?

Plain and simple - that would be the best phrase to describe myself. When it comes to dressing up, I'm far from being fashionable or trendy. Here are fashion jewelries that are currently in my drawer. I didn't buy these myself. I simply rummaged through my sister-in-law's giveaway stuffs. When it comes to my daughter, that's another story. If I c...

southern style smocked dress, anyone?

Here's a little something for everyone, especially the moms out there, who are looking for dresses or clothing for their own kids or to give away as gifts. Our friends at Little English have a great line of clothing for our children of different ages and sizes. I've looked around at their site and I really fell in love with their Smocked Dress collection! Yes, I do wish to have one of those hand smocked dresses for my little girl, Pauline. Haven't you checked out their site just yet? I would love for you guys to come check the site out. They do have nice colors and great designs for children's wear, very distinct southern style -- cool and definitely comfortable to wear because of their smart choice of fabrics!
