best cure, remedy and prevention for insomnia
Having trouble going to sleep? Something worrying you? Troubled and can't sleep? They say counting sheeps will help you doze off to sleep. However, most people would almost run out sheeps to count and realize they're still up and awake.
So why don't we count our blessings, instead? This is perhaps the best cure, remedy and prevention for insomnia. :-)
Here's that lyrics to the song:
Count Your Blessings (Instead of Sheep)
When I'm worried and I can't sleep
I count my blessings instead of sheep
And I fall asleep counting my blessings
When my bankroll is getting small
I think of when I had none at all
And I fall asleep counting my blessings
I think about a nursery and I picture curly heads
And one by one I count them as they slumber in their beds
If you're worried and you can't sleep
Just count your blessings instead of sheep
And you'll fall asleep counting your blessings
So why don't we count our blessings, instead? This is perhaps the best cure, remedy and prevention for insomnia. :-)

You know Metrisha that is my favorite song especially when sung by the Gunter kallmann Choir during Christmas season.

ReplyDeleteI love these old songs, the instrumental styles deliver a magical quality.
ReplyDeleteYes, counting our blessings makes us aware of God's divine providence for our lives. We tend to forget that until we begin to count our blessings and then we realize that we have a generous and gracious God who provides for all our needs. Thanks for the post. God bless you all always.
