This song always makes me remember my late Mom. She passed away in 2007, just a few days before Christmas. Always has the same effect on me everytime I listen to this song.

    It's really hard to celebrate Christmas without your dearest mother at your side. That you remember her every time you hear this Christmas carol is a wonderful keepsake from her.     I too am sorry to hear this . . . my mother and father past away not long ago, and it has been very difficut for me, but one thing I'm glad about is that I know their in Heaven with our Lord Jesus Christ!

    This song and video is so beautiful that I couldn't help but to get tears in my eyes! Thank you, and God Bless you and your family!!!

I am not sure if I have mentioned in any of my posts that my father is a professional mechanical engineer and that he works at a sugar milling company. Career-wise, he actually had humble beginnings where he started from a mere rank and file employee who works hands-on with bearings,  vise accessories and other industrial supplies and equipment that I am not familiar with, until he got promoted to a supervisory position. Today, even when he is already past the age of retirement, he is still working, although now I heard he is already holding a consultancy position (sort of). I am proud of my dad's achievements especially that I am aware that he worked really hard to earn his title. He's not from a well-to-do family; so, he had to work his way to get to college.
