happy wife = happy life

Earlier today, we debated on what to eat for breakfast. The husband decided to cook boiled eggs, but I was craving for scrambled eggs with sliced tomatoes. He objected and insisted on boiled eggs because it is healthier, and that we should limit our intake of "fried" or "oily" foods. I said " No, I want it scrambled " but he keeps insisting "boiled" (he's the cook, anyway). So, I really thought l lost the battle until he called me for breakfast. 🙂

Hail to the Queen of Procrastination

If I would have a title, what would it be? Answer: I guess that would have to be " Queen of Procrastination " ?  :-)  That's true, but not in all aspects! Sorry for that disclaimer. Somehow I have mastered the art of procrastination when it comes to updating this blog. I decided to keep it but then I have left it unattended again for months! The husband is complaining already. He said he supported my decision to keep this blog but he did not expect that I would only keep it idle again. So, I have to blame it on something. This pandemic! Lol.. And then I get to earn another title, the "Blame Queen"..  So much for all  this. My prioritization skills really need to improve. For the love of blogging.

Talking About The New Normal

What's the new normal these days? This got me thinking today, and I thought I should make a list. 1. Wearing Masks. Obviously, it's still COVID season, and there's even talks that this virus is here to stay. So definitely, even as we ease into a general community quarantine setting, face masks should already be part of our wardrobe. 2. Social Distancing. How close can we get to each other? Not too close anymore if we don't want to risk ourselves from getting infected from asymptomatic individuals. 3. Work from Home. I'm not sure how many of us can get back to working from traditional work setting but most employers are already looking into this work-from-home setup, especially if commuting to get to their workplace is still a challenge for the employees. 4. Staying at Home. With the non-availability of vaccines for COVID yet, more people would opt to stay at home (even if they're already allowed to) if they have no business with the outside world. 5. ...

Covid-19 virus scare

Image
As we speak, there are a now a few patients who tested positive and are getting treated for Covid19 in the country. That's indeed something to worry about since the virus is quite new, and there's no proven cure yet, as evident in the number of deaths worldwide. I am quite hopeful that, trusting on the capabilities of scientists and medical experts,  a new, reliable and effective anti-viral drug for this novel virus will be released soon. I am alarmed but I don't want to panic. I trust that God has reasons for allowing things to happen.

Hey, It's Been Awhile Again!

I'm not sure if this blog is worth keeping. I guess "keeping" and "maintaining" are not something I am really good at, in most  some areas of my life. I guess it is the same with people and things that you once value and cherish. They come and go. We cannot always keep all of them forever. I am almost at the point of saying goodbye, and no more holding on. I guess it is time to create new memories. Hey, it's been awhile.. But.... Maybe this is goodbye, but I will hang on for awhile, until I am sure there are truly no words to say from this little space. Shoutout to all the people and things that made me sad and glad. Happy 2020! Cheers to a happier life ahead.
