best friday ever

Husband has declared this Friday as his rest day from driving the motorcycle to work. He said we needed to be without the motorcycle today as he wants to do grocery after work. Besides, he finds it stressful to drive because there are a lot of crazy drivers out there who have no regard for others' and their safety. If we only live nearer to the workplace, we wouldn't be riding the motorcycle when coming to work. We have already agreed last night that we will leave home early because we have to commute to go to work today. Thankfully, we made it to work on time even if we skipped the last ride and just chose to walk our way to the workplace so we can have a few minutes of exercise. We're kind of getting used to this sedentary lifestyle already which is not good. So now, with this motorcycle-less day, I feel like I've done good job for myself. I'm sure husband feels the same way. We haven't had time to do brisk walks ever since we were riding our motorcycle to g

she walks away from her mom

I thought I should post this video of dipdip where she happily walked away from her mom to be with the nannies who usually take their walks every afternoon. This was the same day we took the many faces of my baby . I was surprised to see my daughter, now at 10 months, walking away from me because she loves to stroll with her friends. Oh my, she's really walking now! I never thought it would be this early but oh well, there might be other babies who walked earlier than she did. I just thought I wanted to "baby" her, you know--where you just simply cuddle her and all. Now, she wouldn't usually want to be carried because she likes to walk !!! And I was like thinking of postponing her to grow up faster hahaha just kidding. Anyway, so here's that short video of my daughter walking away from me. :-)

dipdip learns to walk at 9 months!

We are just so amazed to see Dipdip starting to walk confidently and bravely, although these are just small steps yet. She has practised this walking exercise inside her crib turned playpen less than a month ago. Now she will not even appreciate the walker that we bought her. She wants to try and take the steps without anyone holding her. Well, isn't she adorable in this video? I'm not in the video here since I took the shot by the window upstairs while she and her Ate Virgie (the nanny) are out to get fresh air.

i'm getting there!

Just for the record, it's been fourteen days since my maternity leave. Little Pauline is still kicking strong inside my womb. If she follows the expected delivery date stated in the ultrasound, I'll be due in eight days. Waaaaaa... I'm getting excited and nervous at the same time. How will I hold out on this pregnancy? God, I certainly wish and pray for a safe delivery. Ever since I got this break from work, I've been doing some walking as a form of exercise. The doctor told me it is best for me. It can certainly help induce labor by bringing on contractions, in a natural way. Everytime I do that, I feel like she's going a little lower, heading down below my pelvis. If she's indeed moved a little lower, the internal examination tomorrow wouldn't be as painful as my first experience. I'd be lucky if the doctor wouldn't have to probe deeper. I wake up everyday wondering if today could be the day that my waterbag breaks. Am I ready for it? I have everyt
